Dr Hassan Jalil Shah holds a PhD in Leadership and Management from the prestigious National Defence University, Islamabad. A distinguished academic, researcher, and practitioner, he combines scholarly excellence with extensive practical experience to develop leaders who can effectively navigate today’s complex organisational landscape.
With deep expertise in Emotional Intelligence (EI), Neuro-Leadership, Psychodynamic Leadership, and contemporary leadership theories, Dr Hassan has designed and delivered numerous executive development and leadership training programs. His approach emphasises that exceptional leadership is not only about achieving results but also about understanding people, building meaningful relationships, demonstrating empathy, and creating environments where individuals and teams can thrive.
A prolific researcher and published author, Dr Hassan has contributed extensively to the field of leadership through numerous peer-reviewed research publications. His work uniquely integrates leadership, organisational behaviour, neuroscience, psychology, and parenthood, advocating for compassionate, emotionally intelligent, and human-centred leadership. He believes that organisations flourish when leaders cultivate self-awareness, emotional resilience, trust, and a culture of continuous learning.

Dr Hassan Jalil Shah currently serves as Professor and Principal of the Jinnah School of Public Policy & Leadership (JSPPL), NUST, and is a valued member of the Strategic Planning Committee of NUST, where he contributes to shaping the University’s strategic direction and leadership development initiatives.
