WHY NCTL?
The NUST Centre for Teaching and Learning (NCTL) views faculty development as a continuous professional journey that extends well beyond institutional orientation. The program provides newly inducted faculty members with a structured platform to understand the University's academic culture, engage with institutional values and practices, and learn from the experiences of distinguished faculty and academic leaders who have contributed to NUST's tradition of excellence in teaching, research, and innovation. Through collaborative learning, mentorship, and reflective engagement, NCTL enables faculty to confidently navigate institutional systems while fostering a strong sense of belonging within the University community. The program equips participants with the knowledge, networks, and support needed to thrive in their academic roles and contribute meaningfully to NUST's pursuit of educational excellence.
