As the Head of the Department of Medical Education at the NUST School of Health Sciences (NSHS), she plays a pivotal role in advancing educational excellence through innovative curriculum planning, faculty development, and the promotion of best practices in health professions education.

In addition to her leadership at NSHS, Dr. Saleem has served as a Curriculum Development Facilitator at the NUST Center for Teaching and Learning (NCTL), where she has delivered faculty development programmes and professional training sessions on curriculum development for faculty members across NUST. Through these initiatives, she has supported academic departments in strengthening curriculum planning, programme design, constructive alignment, and the effective implementation of outcome-based education frameworks.
