Rabia Sikandar is an accomplished Human Resource and Learning & Development professional with over 15 years of experience in designing, managing, and delivering capacity-building initiatives for academic, corporate, and public-sector professionals. As Senior Assistant Director HR at the Human Resource Directorate, NUST, she specializes in strategic learning interventions, leadership development, faculty development, employee engagement, and organizational capacity building.
She has successfully designed and led high-impact national and international training programs, most notably serving as the Program Lead for the Capacity Building Program for Faculty Members from Afghan Universities. In this role, she conceptualized the complete training framework, developed the learning roadmap, coordinated with national and international experts, managed end-to-end program execution, and facilitated multiple training sessions herself. The program focused on strengthening institutional capabilities through modern teaching methodologies, academic leadership, curriculum enhancement, research practices, and professional development, while fostering cross-cultural collaboration and knowledge exchange.
As a certified trainer and instructional designer, Rabia has designed and delivered numerous professional development programs covering leadership, communication, presentation skills, employee engagement, HR policies, mentoring, and classroom management,. Her training philosophy emphasizes experiential learning, participant engagement, practical application, and measurable organizational impact. She has successfully managed large-scale faculty development programs, executive training workshops, and organizational learning interventions, contributing significantly to institutional excellence and human capital development.
Rabia is passionate about creating learner-centered experiences that inspire innovation, strengthen leadership capabilities, and enable individuals and organizations to achieve sustainable growth through continuous learning. She is also pursuing PhD in Business Administration from NUST Business School.
