Dr Umair Manzoor received his BS degree in Metallurgy & Materials Engineering from GIKI, Pakistan, MS & PhD degrees from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), South Korea and short Postdocs in nanomaterials synthesis and nanosensors from the USA and Singapore. He has more than 26 years of experience in nanoparticles/nanostructures synthesis for advanced applications and delivering lectures/workshops on “Professional Development & Personal Excellence”.
He won various awards and international grants, commercialised a couple of products, registered a patent, was Editor-in-Chief of NUST Journal of Engineering Sciences (NJES) and authored more than 35 research papers. Currently, he is working as Professor & Principal/Dean at School of Chemical and Materials Engineering (SCME), National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Islamabad. Pakistan.
