Faculty Development Program for National Defense University- KSA
Over the course of two weeks, we successfully designed and delivered an intensive Capacity Building Program for a delegation of 12 faculty members from the National Defense University (NDU), Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The program was carefully structured to strengthen participants’ capabilities in modern teaching, academic research, leadership, and professional development.
The training combined interactive workshops, practical exercises, collaborative discussions, and hands-on activities, enabling participants to explore innovative approaches to higher education. Sessions focused on learner-centred teaching methodologies, curriculum enhancement, research excellence, assessment strategies, academic leadership, and effective communication, equipping faculty with practical tools that can be readily applied in their institutions.
Beyond the classroom, the program incorporated a range of cultural, networking, and extracurricular activities designed to encourage collaboration, knowledge exchange, and cross-cultural engagement. These experiences fostered meaningful professional relationships while providing participants with valuable insights into academic practices and institutional excellence.
The program reflected our commitment to developing future-ready educators and academic leaders by creating an engaging learning environment that promoted innovation, collaboration, and continuous professional growth. Through such international capacity-building initiatives, we continue to strengthen global academic partnerships and contribute to excellence in higher education.
